Dedicated and Compassionate Staff

  • Attending Physician

    Remains the patient’s primary care Physician and works as part of the UGC Hospice team.

  • Medical Director

    Certifies the attending physician’s prognosis, leads the UGC Hospice team in developing a plan of care, provides consultation to physician. Our medical Director is very experienced. He has been practicing Internal medicine for years.

  • Registered Nurse

    Evaluates the patient’s condition during regularly scheduled visits. Coordinates the plan of care and teaches the family about proper patient care, the use of medication and pain management. Skilled nurses, who are trained specifically to deal with pain, and symptom management, available 24 hours a day.

  • Medical Social Services

    Assesses social service needs of the patient and family. Provides counseling, assists in coping with anxiety, fear, stress, family conflicts, financial needs, depression, and concerns about death.

  • Spiritual Counseling

    Our non-denominational Chaplain makes initial contact with each patient and family to assess and provide spiritual needs. Works with clergy of their choice as a liaison. Aids with funeral and memorial preparations.

  • Trained Volunteers

    Provide non-medical friendly visits and respite to patients and families. They give needed emotional support and encouragement.

  • Administrator and Designee Admin/DPCS

    The Director of Patient Care Services, is dedicated, devoted & very hard working. She runs a very tight ship when it comes to patient care. She has been serving hospice patients for several years.

  • Our Social Workers

    Our social workers are the go-to persons when the patient or patient's family needs help with social, emotional, and financial needs. They have extensive knowledge and information. They have been serving the senior community for a considerable number of years.
  • Chaplain

    Was hired many years ago and he’s been serving his community since then. He actively participates in the community projects and he’s providing spiritual & bereavement counseling to home health/ hospice patients for numerous years.
  • Certified Home Health Aides & Homemakers

    Compassionate people that will make sure that the patients have the best care possible. With a compassionate approach, we provide personal care and assistance with daily activities, ensuring that patients feel comfortable, safe, and supported at all times.
