I’m Anna Thukral, the proud owner of Ultimate Great Care Hospice. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
Right from a young age, I always knew I wanted to be of service to my community. Initially, I started in real estate and did well as a broker, selling many homes and learning a lot. But fourteen years ago, a close friend of mine encouraged me to make the switch to the hospice industry, telling me I have a heart for people.
I can say I made the right decision and could not be happier. It’s a great time to be in the hospice industry as people now have a lot more information, and the taboo that used to be attached to hospice care is fading away for the most part.
The most rewarding part of my day-to-day work life is the chance I get to sit down with clients and their families, working out ways to help improve their situation. I do not rest on yesterday’s laurels but am continually striving for improvement in all aspects of my business and life.
As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is the care, compassion, and dignity I bring in all my dealings and interactions with my patients and staff. Similarly, my commitment to quality and highly professional approach makes me the best at what I do.
I attribute my success to my fantastic team, which consistently addresses all our patients’ needs on a medical, physical, emotional, and spiritual level. Our team consists of our UGC Hospice medical director, patient-attending physicians, registered nurses, home health aides, social workers, a chaplain, and trained volunteers.
The many referrals and testimonials from satisfied families and patients I have received have given me immense satisfaction over the years and continue to be a source of inspiration to me, my team, and our partners.
When I am not at work, which as a business owner is somewhat rare, I enjoy different pursuits and hobbies. I love spending time with my family and friends, hiking, and reading, to name just a few.
I also believe in giving back to society. As part of that belief, over the years, I have contributed my skills and time to non-profit organizations dealing with senior care and adults with special needs.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things that matter to me and how they influence my business.
